The Rotling is a thrilling fresh and palatable wine which is made from a blend of white and red grapes. This is the biggest differentiation to our Rosé wine which is just made out of red grapes and even if the colour of the two wines is nearly the same, the taste is different. This makes the Rosé as well as the Rotling very exciting.
The white grapes for this off-dry Rotling are coming from the varietal Rivaner and the red ones are Dornfelder grapes. After the harvest, the white and the red grapes are getting pressed at the same time in the cellar and a kind of composition between red wine and white wine arises. The Rotling from the Mosel convinces with a nice fruit and great aromas from white and red grapes. This makes it complex and interesting but at the same time it is easy to enjoy because it is light and fresh.
You should try this off-dry wine to light dishes like salads or chicken as well as to barbecues in general. A lot of our customers love this wine as we do and it is their first choice when they invite their friends for a garden party or just for a nice evening.
