The "white out of black" - this is how the wine "Blanc de Noir" can be most likely translated. The name of this white wine is caused by the fact that it is made out of red Pinot Noir grapes. Immediately after the grapes for this wine are picked, they are getting squeezed in the wine press before the red colour, which is inside the grape skin, impacts the wine. The result is a white wine made out of red grapes which is very interesting to taste.
The off-dry Blanc de Noir from our winery appears mellowed and full-flavoured. It is a white wine from the Mosel with a long finish and a multifaceted character.
